Fishing Report
Fishing update (What's New?)

Early September Update

Sorry for the lack of updates over the past couple of weeks,
but either the
weather had kept us at the docks, or the fishing was not that noteworthy, but
that has all changed, well at least the fishing part!!

We have had a strong E to NE wind for most of the month, but did mange to get
out and fish the OCMC 51st Annual White Marlin Tournament.  The marlin
fishing was consistently good for the tourney, and we caught a few, just not
enough to place in the tourney (theres always next year!!).  So far thismonth,
when boats have been able to get out, the marlin have been biting pretty good.
If you have ever wanted to catch a marlin, now is the time.

The other big news in OC is that all of this east wind has brought the tunas
back!!  I have not ad the opportunity to cash in on it yet, but the yellowfin tuna
fishing along the 30 fathom line was hot over Labor Day weekend.  Double digit
catches were not uncommon, and the fish ranged from BLT's on up to 50
pounders.  There were also lots of false albacore, and a few wahoo mixed in.  If
you have been waiting to go fishing because of the lack of tunas, wait no more!!!!

One final note- the new Last Call T-shirts
are in, featuring everyone's favorite
Reaper, and his pals Chokey the Chicken and Spanky the Monkey!!
 We are
selling the old design for $15 and the new design for $20.  Stop by and check
out the new stuff!!!

We have plenty of dates available, so please, stop by, shoot me an email, or give
me a call and i will rig you up with the trip of a lifetime!!

Keep checking back for more reports.  I will
try to up-date weekly through the
fall to keep everyone up to speed on the fishing.

Hope to see you soon,

Capt. Franky
